This
innovative multifold wheelchair ramp
first introduced by PVI ten years now
has several new features. Some of the
improvements include a new design of
the center joint which not only
dominates the pinch points of earlier
models, it also adds strength to the
highest stress area of the ramp. The
ramp folds up and carries like a
suitcase. This new model is three
inches shorter than the original model
when folded making it easier to store
and carry. Other improvements include
auto locking of the last two folds of
the ramp so there is no need for a
clip to hold the sides together when
carrying. Just fold and go. These
ramps are all aluminum construction
with a high traction tape on the
surface. The multifold ramp is
available in 5', 6', 7', 8', and 10'
lengths. The ramp unfolds to a
30" wide platform that is ideal
for wheelchairs and scooters with
three or four wheels. The Maximum Ramp
Capacity is 600 pounds except on
WC1030 & WC1230 Maximum Ramp
Capacity is 500 lbs.
